An investment in education, opportunity, and community will help expand access to STEM enrichment and workforce development for youth in West Baltimore.

Big dreams deserve room to grow, and The Be. Org is taking another step toward creating that space for Baltimore's young people.

The Be. Org is proud to announce that it has been selected to receive $179,125 through Amtrak's B&P Tunnel Replacement Program Community Investment Program, supporting expanded access to STEM education, workforce development, and community-based learning opportunities in West Baltimore.

The award is part of Amtrak's broader commitment to investing in communities along the B&P Tunnel Replacement Program corridor, supporting projects that create meaningful and lasting benefits for residents.

For The Be. Org, this investment represents more than funding. It is an opportunity to bring educational resources closer to the communities we serve, create spaces where curiosity and creativity can thrive, and help young people discover what is possible for their futures.

Creating More Space for Opportunity

In partnership with Epic Art Universe, The Be. Org will support the development of container classrooms, creating dedicated spaces for youth to access STEM education, workforce development, and other community-based educational experiences in the Penrose/Fayette Street Outreach area.

These spaces will help bring hands-on learning experiences directly into the community, creating opportunities for young people to explore new interests, strengthen their skills, and connect what they learn to real-world possibilities.

At The Be. Org, we believe exposure creates opportunity. When young people have access to engaging educational experiences, supportive environments, and opportunities to explore their interests, they are better equipped to imagine and pursue futures beyond the limitations often placed upon them.

The container classrooms will help us continue that work by creating more room for exploration, innovation, and growth.

Building on a Commitment to Baltimore Youth

Since its founding in 2014, The Be. Org has worked to empower Baltimore youth through culturally relevant STEM education, workforce readiness programming, and holistic mentorship.

Through initiatives such as Be. Virtual, Be. Future Ready, and Family Engagement Nights, we have helped young people develop technical skills, explore career pathways, strengthen their confidence, and connect with resources that support their growth.

Our work has always been rooted in a simple belief: where a young person lives should never determine how far they can go.

This investment will allow us to build upon that commitment by expanding access to educational spaces and experiences within West Baltimore.

By creating dedicated environments for STEM enrichment and community-based learning, we are helping make opportunity more accessible to the young people and families who call these neighborhoods home.

Investing in Communities, Not Just Classrooms

While the container classrooms will provide physical spaces for education, the significance of this investment extends beyond the structures themselves.

It is about strengthening the connection between education and community.

It is about creating opportunities for young people to develop skills that can support their academic, personal, and professional growth.

And it is about recognizing that meaningful community investment should create resources and opportunities that serve residents well into the future.

Our partnership with Epic Art Universe reflects a shared commitment to creating spaces that bring education, creativity, and community engagement together.

Through this collaboration, we look forward to supporting learning environments that encourage young people to ask questions, explore their potential, and see themselves as innovators, problem-solvers, and future leaders.

A Bigger Vision for West Baltimore

The Be. Org was founded on the belief that young people should be empowered to live beyond their socially imposed limitations.

That belief continues to guide how we approach education, community engagement, and the opportunities we work to create.

As we look ahead, this investment represents another step in our ongoing efforts to bring meaningful resources directly into Baltimore communities.

We are grateful to Amtrak and the B&P Tunnel Replacement Program Community Investment Program for recognizing the value of community-centered education and investing in opportunities for West Baltimore youth.

We also celebrate our partnership with Epic Art Universe and the shared vision of creating spaces where education and community can grow together.

There is more work ahead, and we look forward to sharing updates as this initiative progresses.

Because at the heart of every classroom, every program, and every opportunity is a young person with a dream worth investing in.

The dreams have always been here. We're making more room for them to grow.

Dream Bigger. Be More.
