Fall Bucket List - Baltimore and Beyond

We're sharing quintessential Baltimore (and beyond) happenings you definitely should check out this fall! Is there something you love we didn't include? Be sure to share your recommendations in the comments!

Enjoy Oysters!

Did you know October 1st marks the beginning of Oyster season in Maryland? Be sure to partake in these delicious bites while they're in season between all your fall activities!

Go Kayaking

Before things get too chilly, early fall is the perfect time to get out on the water and take in the sights and sounds of Blackwater aka the Everglades of the North. TIP: check out some of our resources on mindfulness in nature. This is the perfect activity to practice and appreciate some mindful moments amongst the serene sounds of nature.

Walk in the Footsteps of Harriet Tubman

Head over to the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center for a deep and moving experience learning more about this American hero.

Pick Apples and Sip on Cider

With many amazing local spots to choose from, we recommend checking out Baughers or Weber's Cider Mill to try out this family-friendly activity.

Go Leaf Peeping!

This quintessential East Coast tradition is easily accessed in surrounding areas. Check out Green Ridge State Forest for a more immersive experience or just go on a walk later in the season throughout the city!

Take on a Corn Maze

There's so many choices on where to go for this but we love any of these options! Applewood Farm, Councell Farms, Carroll County Ag Center, Clark's Elioak Farm, Green Street Gardens, Maryland Sunrise Farm, Milburn Orchards, Rodgers' Farms, Summers Farm, and, Winterbrook Farm.

Cheer on the Ravens

It wouldn't be fall without football, right? Either head to a favorite local spot or make plans to watch a home game in the parking lot or the stands - it'll be a great time however you participate!
